The Extra Virgin Olive Oil "Terraiolo" is produced in the Tenuta Campinoti estate, owned by the Casa Vinicola Bartali since the '60. Following the founder Alberto Bartali's tradition, olives are harvested by hand between the end of October and the beginning of November. Olives are then cold-pressed, in order to maintain all its original qualities of fragrance and taste. After the grinding the oil is left resting for at least two weeks before the bottling. The "Terraiolo" perfectly matches any dish, best on the bruschetta (toasted bread with oil and salt) where the flavor is enhanced by the heat of the toasted bread. It is also wonderful as seasoning, especially with crudités. |
